In early April I stayed for one week in Perugia, to attend the International journalism festival as a voluteer. I decidet to rent an apartment for that week in town.
I decided to book, on Airbnb, the apartment rented by Antonella and I admit that it was a good choice for several reasons: good price; central position (near Piazza IV novembre, the Cathedral Square) and all the spaces are well organized even if the house is small. There is only one window over the door, but for me wasn’t so important because I spent very small time there (just for breakfast, dinner, a shower and rest at night). I would recommend the apartment for several reasons:
Antonella is a very kind person, it’s easy to know everything you need to know before the arrival (I didn’t have to wait hours or days before receiving an answer), when I was there she explained everything I needed to know. The house, in addition to a good organization of space, has everything you could need.
For heating the house there is a natural gas heat pump, simple to operate (Antonella will, however, to explain how to do). I found all the envelopes required for the recycling of rubbish, which in Perugia is done very carefully (on the kitchen’s wall you will find all the explanations you will need, both in italian and in english).
At the lower floor there are the bathroom, the kitchenette with a table for two, the sofa and the heat pump. The two single beds are located in the mezzanine, reacheable via a spiral staircase.
The only window of the house has no curtains and, since the house is located in an historic house, there are many small noises: I hate “night light” and noises during my sleep and if you are like me it is recommended to have with you plugs ear and eye mask to ward off fatigue from sleepless night (although, certainly, I’m an extreme case from this point of view). I leave you the link to airbnb, where you can find some photos best than mine and where you have the possibility to evaluate better if you like it or not.

Good idea for staying in the city Centre. I was also looking for information about the festival of Journalism you attended. Have you written about in detail? Thank you
